G. Loomis’ proprietary Multi-Taper Design technology creates a series of “micro-tapers” within the overall taper of the blank. This unique process enables G. Loomis rod designers to remove excess wraps of graphite and replace them with a proprietary material of equal strength on potential breakpoints, dramatically reducing the rod’s overall weight. The strategic placement of these scrims tunes rod actions for specific techniques and enhanced overall performance.
